Our dedicated team of educators are here to help your child.
Jersey Weekday Preschool, licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, opened its doors for the first time in September of 2016. Jersey Weekday Preschool is a non-profit preschool that is operated as a ministry of Jersey Church. Jersey has a longstanding reputation for caring for people and connecting them to Christ. The staff at Jersey Weekday Preschool is committed to that purpose and pours their hearts into their students and their families!
Kristin Soliday has been an educator since 2004. She graduated from Capital University with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. She is a reading endorsed and licensed Pre K-3 teacher with the Ohio Department of Education. She taught in the Groveport Madison Local School District for eight years. She spent her first year in first grade, and then the time after in kindergarten. During her time as a classroom teacher she completed her master's in Teaching and Learning with a specialty in Children’s Literature at the Ohio State University. She is passionate about teaching young children, having three of her own, and is incredibly thankful for this opportunity to work in a Christ centered setting! She cannot wait to see the plans God has for our preschool!
Miss Nichole is the lead teacher for our five day Pre-K Class. She joined Jersey Weekday Preschool in 2019. Miss Nichole graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009 and has taught for ten years. She has previously worked as a program coordinator for a local parks and recreation department, as well as a director for a preschool in Colorado. Miss Nichole grew up attending Jersey Church. She currently attends with her husband Alex, and their two children; Aaron and Natalie. Miss Nichole is active in her Sunday morning grow group and also serves in the children's ministry. Miss Nichole loves spending time with her family, traveling, and helping children learn in new and exciting ways!
Miss Alyssa is the classroom assistant in our preschool classes! She has attended Jersey Church her whole life and has been a member for half. Miss Alyssa started as a substitute assistant teacher the first year of the preschool's opening, then last year she joined our staff as our classroom assistant on a daily basis! She is also currently in the process of getting a degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. Alyssa is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young children and is very excited to be at Jersey Weekday Preschool! When Miss Alyssa is not at preschool or working on a college class, she enjoys flying on a plane somewhere, spending time with family, and taking walks outside in God's beautiful creation!
Miss Misty is the classroom assistant in our preschool classes! She has been a member of Jersey Church for the last 2 years and has attended for more than 5. Miss Misty and her husband Brian have two boys, Braeden and Carsen. Misty has a degree in accounting, but after taking some time to stay at home with her boys, she began working as a substitute in her local school district and discovered how much she enjoys working with young children. When Miss Misty has a little time she enjoys reading, baking, and volunteering at her children's school!

Classroom assistants are not required to hold a degree, but prior experience is preferred.
